I remember viewing our potential new home with Mr M and the estate agent in a state of fuzz. Rather like an old-fashioned sepia photograph, the visit was all a bit blurry and I was a little over excited. We had previously seen the dated bungalow and put in an offer but like so many others we’d viewed, we were outbid. We were in our second rental property and we were desperate to find ‘The Right One’.
Hello there, welcome and thank you for joining me today! You have no idea how nervous I am about this whole blogging thing I’ve got going on here! I am so not technically minded and I can see the disbelief on my friends faces when I tell them what I’m up to. To paint a quick picture, I am the type of person who can just about work her phone, send texts, navigate the iPad and do what I call the simple things on a PC. I have never attempted to understand how the back end of a website works and quite frankly never been the slightest bit interested. I’ve never worked in a technical environment and if any of my gadgets do stop working, I turn them off and then back on again and pray a little in between or call for a teenager.
What I can do though is make a space functional and pretty, often on a tight budget and I’m told I can make a home comfortable and welcoming too.
